Career

Do you possess patience and a positive nature?

Do you believe in the inherent good of children of all ages and backgrounds?

Would you like a job with real commitment, where hard work actually makes a big difference, and a difference you will see all around you?

Becoming a Mentor
We encourage and welcome members of the public who care enough about their area and community to come forward and embrace the opportunity to become a mentor with Schools Support Service.

The successful applicants will have had to pass a police check before becoming a Mentor. They will also have proved they have good people skills i.e. the ability to listen and empathise with young people. Some students can be difficult and will require the successful Mentor to be firm while remaining fair.
